In Stefan`s picture, ripped-out wire almost touches a white stroke line! (See a square white stroke line around melted component?.Good, now try to compare a distance of ripped out wire in Stefan`s picture to the picture i`ve taken before packing videocard. Take a closer look! You can see a wire coming out of a plate which is than melted by the stuff between it.It doesn`t have a shape of a box with 90 degrees corners.I`m so damn glad i have taken a pictures of my card before sending it back to evga.ĭo you see any wires coming off the plate and than melted stuff between it?Īnd do you find a shape of my burned component similar to the one i`ve got sended by evga?! If you buy a car with a garante and some electronical components melting by them self,you`ve always a charge-free replacement! Yes it is a physical damage,BUT! it is not caused by a customer(me)! The fee you try charge of me should be actually charged from "Made in china/taiwan" because of using bad materials for producing components. Melting of the components isn`t my fault because, i haven`t done any overclocking or whatever that could cause it. I haven`t made any damage to a card itself, i have taken closer look to a pictures and i see the component seems to be melted down! I find it unfair the charges you try to take on me.Īlthough it`s 25 euro, i find it unfair. Please let me know what you would prefer. We can offer to replace the card on a fee of 25€. We received your card with serial number 1011641580100592. I`m very curios what will be the charges on my SR-2 and what for physical damages they will find.Īnd based on what reasons comes out a price of 25 euro! This can be only caused by a bad enginering or bad materials used during making of components ,which has leaded to melting of component. I don`t even understand how you can call it a physical damage and by what (human) physical factor it was caused!Melting down of such components ,can`t be caused by a human physical factor. I`m shocked of what i`ve got today in my mailbox.Īt the moment i see EVGA`s RMA as nothing else than a way to rip you off. I have some issues with my GTX580 & SR-2 motherboard.
